Under the direction of the Imaging Manager, the Lead Technologist, and the Licensed Radiologic Technologist, the Clinic Assistant performs clinical and related clerical functions, transports patients, assists technologist with patient positioning, schedules exams and cleans and stocks area as necessary in the Imaging department.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
Education (Experience can be substituted for education)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
Interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with patients, patient care givers, physicians, and other department personnel and coworkers to ensure quality patient care and present positive department and interdepartmental cooperation.
Basic computer skills to operate a computer efficiently and effectively.
There are two part time positions open and the required hours are 8:00am-4:30pm for a total of 40 hours every two weeks. Must be able to work full days. Both positions are eligible for Children's full benefits.
Position 1 - Tuesdays and Thursdays and every other Friday
Position 2 - Mondays and Wednesdays and every other Friday
