Job Summary The Clinic Aide helps maintain a smooth and efficient flow of patients in clinic, performs functions delegated by department staff and maintains and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care. Essential Functions - Prepares and turns over exam rooms and promotes a safe, clean, and organized environment for the delivery of care. - Supports the unit environmental needs by maintaining cleanliness in the waiting room, shared workroom spaces, and conference rooms. - Assembles clinic specific supplies. - Completes supply stocking in patient exam rooms. Rotates supplies out to minimize expired products. - Assists with phone calls and scheduling as appropriate. - Performs clerical duties as assigned. - Supports supervised patient care as appropriate. Education: - High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to follow simple, routine instructions. - Effective verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to respond to basic customer requests with patience and enthusiasm; understand the needs of customers and escalate issues when appropriate Required for All Jobs: - This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be requested in the performance of this job. - Employment is at-will.
