Join us at Nasdaq as a Client Success Specialist and become an important part of Nasdaq CSD's Icelandic team. You will collaborate with senior employees to get to know the business and work on projects striving to create value for our customers, generate new revenues, and provide our clients with the highest level of support.

Nasdaq CSD in Iceland (NCSDI) is the leading Central Securities Depository (CSD) in the Icelandic securities market and as such, it provides core CSD and post trade services, including the initial recording of securities, safekeeping and settlement of securities transactions. Main customers are Icelandic financial institutions (participants) and issuers of securities. NCSDI is a fully integrated part of Nasdaq CSD SE‘s legal and business organization which operates also the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian CSD settlement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation and ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Daily customer communication and support
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and provide a high level of service to customers
  • Drive improvements by contributing ideas to enhance Nasdaq CSD’s customer service processes and efficiency.
  • Proposing and designing business requirements for new value-adding services for clients
  • Participate in product and service development, implementation projects, and system testing

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant work experience or high motivation and eagerness to learn
  • Experience or interest in securities services or from the financial industry are preferred
  • Customer driven mentality
  • Business Analyst or product development competence are good to have
  • Experience working with and analyzing business related and financial data are good to have
  • Experience or strong interest in identifying automation opportunities and using AI-enabled tools to improve operational and service efficiency
  • Excellent Icelandic and English language skills
  • Great presentation and communication skills
