The Role: Fractal is evolving our engagement model to better serve our top-tier Banking & Financial Services (BFS) clients. Due to significant growth, we are seeking a dedicated Client Success Leader to join our BFS team.
In this senior, practitioner-led role, you will partner directly with our Sales Leadership to drive growth within the "Big 4" banks and other major financial institutions. You will be the technical and delivery powerhouse that makes achieving those targets possible. You will earn a seat at the table with CXO-level stakeholders by demonstrating profound technical depth in Data & AI, architecting complex solutions, ensuring seamless delivery, and driving organic account growth through exceptional client success.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Solutioning & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor and the primary technical authority for our banking clients. Translate complex business requirements into actionable, high-value AI, Analytics, and Data Engineering solutions.
- Delivery Excellence & Billability: Take hands-on accountability for delivery outcomes. Oversee complex operational activities, guide consulting and capability teams, and ensure high-quality execution that translates directly into client success and consistent billing.
- Account Growth & Sales Partnership: Work together with the Sales Lead to execute strategic account plans. While you won't hold the ultimate sales quota, your ability to identify "farming" opportunities, expand our footprint across business and tech functions, and prove ROI will be the engine driving our Total Contract Value (TCV).
- Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture deep relationships at the CXO level alongside the Sales Lead, transitioning Fractal from a vendor to an indispensable strategic partner through thought leadership and proven delivery.
- Deal Support & Solution Architecture: Support the commercial lifecycle of large, strategic deals. Provide the technical weight needed to win, assist in structuring high-value engagements, and ensure proposed solutions are both highly impactful for the client and commercially viable to deliver.
- Global Team Leadership: Collaborate with and motivate multi-disciplinary, multi-country teams across digital, cloud, analytics, and other new-age services to scale our existing banking relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 12 to 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically within the Australian BFS sector.
- Technical Depth (Non-Negotiable): A proven, practitioner-level background in delivering solutions centred around Data Analytics, AI/ML, and Data Engineering. You must possess the technical knowledge to confidently represent Fractal's capabilities to technical stakeholders.
- Cloud Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in articulating and delivering enterprise analytics solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
- Commercial Acumen & Partnership: Demonstrated experience partnering with dedicated sales teams to grow large accounts. A strong track record of identifying organic growth opportunities and expanding wallet share through superior delivery within complex banking environments.
- Network: Established, active client relationships at the senior stakeholder level within the Australian "Big 4" banks.
- Leadership: Strong executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to generate highly impactful client engagement in top-tier banking firms.
