As a Client Success Engineer, you’ll use your specialized subject matter expertise in Cloud and Networking technologies to ensure Booz Allen employees and mission partners are connected with the right technology and tools they need. If you have the right technical skills and a customer first mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to accelerate the delivery of technology solutions for our clients.

As a Client Success Engineer, you will use your expertise in networking and cloud technologies to ensure customers are able to access the right IT solutions in a rapid and repeatable way. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and developing workflows and support structures to ensure customers have access to the right technical support and SMEs to build and operate their environments. You will help customers optimize network and cloud solutions and build repeatable processes that scale with customer needs. You will utilize deep knowledge of network architecture, cloud infrastructure, and various related technologies, allowing you to diagnose and resolve complex issues promptly. Your proficiency enables you to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams, understand client needs, and deliver customized solutions that drive measurable business goals. Through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, you will ensure seamless and secure operations, fostering strong, long-lasting client relationships. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in client facing roles addressing process optimization and workflow design

  • 5+ years of experience working with LCNC ServiceNOW solutions

  • 5+ years of experience with core networking technologies

  • 5+ years of experience with Cisco and F5 network appliances

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

  • Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • Knowledge of ITIL process framework

  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure networking and security services as well as best practices and compliance frameworks

  • HS diploma or GED

  

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with Backstage, KeyCloak, and Out Systems

  • Experience with CDK and L1/2/3 constructs

  • Experience with containerization, including Docker, ECS, or EKS

  • Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid environments

  • Experience with Google Cloud

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a related field

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Professional-level Certification such as Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Security Specialty Certification

  • CISSP, CCSP, or CCNA Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
