Position summary:

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties. Process consumer and commercial checking and savings deposits, process loan payment, cash checks and savings withdrawals. Primary liaison for customers in situations requiring research and follow-up. Identify client needs and generate sales leads for additional service/product opportunities. Requires premier servicing skills in addition to utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills. This means to be active, attentive, and alert.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Resolve client-based inquiries and concerns (including but not limited to reconciliation of statements, card re-pins, card lock outs, balance inquiries, error corrections, all other customer services issues posed by clients or employees)
  • Perform clerical duties
  • Order products & set up services for clients
  • Assist manager(s) and or Relationship Manager in any operational duties, including external business meetings at client’s office.
  • Attending External events and Expo’s
  • Complete other related tasks & projects as directed by management

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • 0-1 years of customer service experience in a bank environment
  • Strong ability to understand risk
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the financial institution.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay updated on bank policies, financial trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other bank staff to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility to work branch hours

 

Potential Salary: $65,000- $75,000 annually

This salary range reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
