Job Description

We're Norton Rose Fulbright - a global law firm with over 50 offices and 7,000 employees worldwide. We provide the world’s preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. At Norton Rose Fulbright, our strategy and our culture are closely entwined. We know that our expansion will mean little unless it is underpinned by truly global collaboration and we understand that pioneering work only takes place when our people have room to move and think beyond boundaries. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we're looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.

The Role and Team

At Norton Rose Fulbright, clients are central to everything we do. Our core value, clients come first, drives our EMEAPAC Client Programme, which is strongly supported by the leadership.

Our Client Development team, part of the wider EMEA Marketing & Business Development function, works closely with BD colleagues across sectors and practices, as well as experts in events, digital, campaigns, design, bids, and communications. Together, we support strategic client accounts through collaboration with global Client Relationship Partners (CRPs).

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Client Relationship Executive (CRE) to join this dynamic team. You’ll support CRMs in managing key client portfolios and contribute to strategic initiatives led by senior leadership—gaining broad exposure and helping shape best practices across the firm.

This exciting role offers the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including:

  • MBD colleagues (client development, BD, bids, events, campaigns, PR, design)
  • Business services (pricing, finance, compliance, HR, DEI, L&D, library, legal project management)
  • Clients (occasionally, through events and engagement activities)

Key Responsibilities

    • Update relationship maps and contacts in InterAction
    • Attend account meetings and follow up on action items
    • Assist with preparation for client meetings
    • Maintain internal client databases
    • Track new matters and flag those suitable for client feedback
    • Coordinate with teams to manage secondee, compliance, and billing requests effectively

  • Opportunity support
    • Identify new opportunities and trends through client research and analysis
    • Assist with panel renewals and strategic bids
    • Create tailored BD materials for client meetings
    • Collaborate with the sector and practice BD teams to develop campaigns
    • Support development of new products / offerings for clients

  • Event management
    • Help deliver client events (entertaining, training, CSR/DEI) with the events team
    • Collaborate with CRMs to explore new client engagement ideas

  • Internal and external reporting
    • Prepare tailored client-facing reports per the client’s requirements (financial, value add and DE&I)
    • Help with financial analysis for internal reporting
    • Help connect and share insights on client activity across the firm

Key Skills and Experience

  • Graduate degree and/or working towards a professional marketing qualification
  • Experience in professional services and business development (preferred)
  • Practical, organised, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
