About the role

Reporting to the Platform Securities Chief Operating Officer this role is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships and managing commercial terms with Platform Securities’ Clients and overseeing the Account Management responsibilities for both Wealth and Securities Finance Matching Platform clients.

Client Account Managers work closely with the client point of liaison, helping in the delivery of a consistently high level of service.  Success will necessitate building an understanding of the client’s business model and the services that we provide for them and recognising opportunities to cross-sell new and existing services across the client base. Strong communication skills are essential and the ability to build good working relations at all levels within a client organisation. Comfortable operating at senior management/executive level is a key role of the position.

A track record of demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong planning and co-ordination skills are essential to ensure that business and commercial objectives are met with sufficient controls at all times.

What you will be doing

 Client Onboarding & Service Delivery

  • Support and coordinate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

  • Liaise with multiple corporate clients and communicate effectively at all organisational levels.

  • Ensure consistent and effective service delivery across all client touchpoints.

Governance & Oversight

  • Provide oversight of day-to-day Wealth and MTF servicing and act as an escalation point for client queries.

  • Perform governance oversight through structured client service reviews.

  • Manage solution upgrades with appropriate business input and oversight.

 Relationship Management

  • Encourage and drive consistently high levels of service to corporate clients.

  • Represent client interests objectively in internal forums.

  • Proactively manage disparate expectations and demands of different clients.

Commercial & Strategic Focus

  • Recognise opportunities to cross-sell new and existing tools and services by understanding the client’s strategic direction.

  • Ensure all contracts and work orders are accurate, profitable, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Organise regular structured updates and reporting to clients and senior stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Conflict Management

  • Manage conflict proactively and effectively, achieving pragmatic solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and integrate operational and business solutions.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with other business areas to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery.

  • Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with clients and internal teams.

What you bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

  • Background in Wealth or Securities Finance, working in a similar role within Financial Services and knowledge of the associated regulations.

  • Experience of delivering exceptional client service and managing corporate relationships.

  • Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements.

  • Maturity, integrity and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives with the minimum of direction.

  • Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Decision making in a high-pressured environment.

  • Self-motivated and a proactive with a can-do attitude.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to build long lasting professional relationships with colleagues and Clients alike.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
