About the Role:
The Client Partner is responsible for developing new and existing client relationships within their given territory in the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa by selling all Dow Jones media products and services. Leveraging extensive experience in sales, advertising, and client relationship management, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will collaborate closely with internal cross regional and functional teams to tailor advertising solutions to meet the unique needs of clients and ensure the successful execution of campaigns. The goal is to increase new clients in the region, client satisfaction and retention across all brand and media solutions including custom content, video, podcasts and events.
This role reports into and supports the Client Director for Middle East, Turkey and North Africa and must be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating new pipeline of customers and partners.
You Will:
- Develop and execute an effective relationship management plan for new and existing clients and agencies, driving revenue growth through consultative and strategic interactions.
- Autonomously develop and close complex media sales opportunities, regularly selling through the C-Suite and key decision-makers across your designated industry.
- Collaborate closely with cross regional/functional internal solutions teams to conceptualise, produce, and present market-leading proposal presentations.
- Maintain deep, localized industry sector knowledge, keeping abreast of MENA-specific market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
- Act as the primary owner on and trusted advisor, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction, campaign execution, and long-term retention.
- Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and deal stages in Salesforce.com.
- Qualify opportunities by quickly grasping a client's complex business challenges and defining a clear vision for delivering strategic value using Dow Jones media solutions.Represent Dow Jones at industry events and conferences across the MENA region.
- As Middle East team sales team has ambitions to grow, be able to serve as mentor and coach to junior sellers providing guidance and support the Client Director
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in media client sales, with a significant preference for prior advertising sales, media, or consulting experience.
- Proven experience and deep understanding of the Middle East media landscape is required.
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience engaging with clients and agencies in Dubai and the broader MENA region.
- Bachelor's degree
- Deep knowledge of the digital media market, including programmatic, custom content, video, and cross-platform solutions.
- Superior negotiation and complex deal structuring skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client service and drive revenue growth while managing multiple clients.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Google/Microsoft productivity applications.
- Exceptional one-on-one and group presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the MENA region to meet with clients.
