Salary: A competitive salary from £39,680- £59,520 depending on the experience you can bring

We have a new opportunity available to join our Workplace Investing team as a Client Manager. Workplace is a core market for Aegon UK and therefore is critical to our strategy and success of our business. We have an ambitious growth model and the Workplace Investing team has a key objective to build on the existing strong market position and establish Aegon as a serious player in the large scheme and EBC market as well as maintaining our success in the SME sector.
As Client Manager, you will cover a portfolio of Trust and Contract based clients, managing and strengthening client, consultant, operational and administration relationships. You will also cover as an adviser overlay, working directly with our key adviser accounts to support their clients’ schemes. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and consultants to help develop client’s scheme and member communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities include:
Proactively identifying opportunities to protect and increase revenue across your portfolio of clients
Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including both trust and contract based schemes. Developing direct client, adviser and consultant relationships promoting a tripartite relationship approach within the team.
Preparing and presenting at client meetings on all aspects of the clients MI, as well as the Aegon proposition.
Work with Head of Client Development to support delivery of growth and consolidation activity across their portfolio. Execute consolidation and retention plans at client level, delivering on commercial objectives for the team in line with Workplace MTP requirements and contribute to new business process, participating in new prospect pitch meetings.
Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business ensuring a joined up approach is always taken between the team and the other business areas
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Developing and executing on strong and effective client plans
Proactively reaches out to other areas to solve client problems
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationship internally and externally across a wide range of levels
Proven relevant experience in a client relationship management role
Strong DC pensions product and market knowledge and knowledge of Workplace Strategy.
Though not essential APMI, FPC or IMC qualifications would be preferential or the appetite to work towards these qualifications
