What is the opportunity?

The RBC Client Implementation Lead role is your opportunity to become a critical member of the Implementation and Integration team, where you’ll drive exceptional client experiences for highly sophisticated businesses. Your primary focus will be leading commercial and corporate clients through the end-to-end implementation and integration process, ensuring seamless delivery of tailored solutions for treasury products. This includes tailored planning, disciplined project oversight and proactive communications with business clients.  

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in a team environment with a collaborative focus on delivering an exceptional client experience. Previous work experience in the financial services industry with a focus on treasury and a high level of comfort interacting with clients are important for success in this role.

What will you do?

  • Develop a deep understanding of the treasury product suite with an understanding of how each product can enable large and complex businesses to meet their specific needs.  

  • Analyze client’s product requirements to understand their unique needs to develop and execute a tailored implementation plan.

  • Lead multiple implementation cases at a time, ensuring client’s onboarding and implementation plans progress in accordance with established expectations 

  • Effectively engage partners for critical activities in support of the implementation process.

  • Work in collaboration with a broader Implementation and Integration Team in Commercial Banking to identify, plan & deliver an exceptional implementation plan for clients and prospects based on strong knowledge of client’s operational requirements. 

  • Facilitate a seamless transition to servicing partners upon completing implementation, ensuring clients have clarity and confidence in their products, services and available support.

  • French Language required

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated excellence in a financial service role that involved client interactions focused on treasury projects

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in business acumen and ability to provide meaningful advice

  • Proven track record of delivering an exceptional client experience

  • Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications)

Nice-to-have

  • Post-secondary education at college or university level in business administration or financial management preferred e.g., BBA, B. of Commerce or equivalent work experience
