JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.
For our team in Hamburg or Berlin we are looking for a Client Director (div/f/m) who will look after our accounts with a high degree of pro-activeness, empathy, strategic thinking and communication skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- You are a business accelerator for our clients and us
- You have overall responsibility for the client, which means you are responsible for the success of the collaboration and the expansion of the sales volume
- You are a connector and able to manage and lead a senior DEPT® team on the client
- In addition you monitor the performance of the customer's products and KPIs (e.g. data dashboards), taking measures for optimization if required
- You are responsible for the client satisfaction
- You pro-actively initiate and drive strategic and sustainable customer development through appropriate formats and have a significant influence on the company's growth
- Being familiar with clients business goals and pain points in order to adapt offers to the customer's goals are further areas of responsibility that you will have
- You will gain an overview of your clients' stakeholder landscape and maintain a regular exchange with relevant stakeholders on the client side, our management, the experts and project managers as well as other DEPT® business units (if relevant for the existing account setup)
- You know how to ask the right questions at the customer and thus open up new business areas
- You will also give individual client presentations and hold regular quarterly and annual planning meetings so that nothing stands in the way of achieving client goals
- You present work internally and externally
WHAT YOU BRING:
- You have many years of professional experience in managing global accounts in the field of digital experience and technology, with seven-figure annual budgets and higher. Experience in working with global clients is a big plus
- You have experience in managing and facilitating international and cross functional internal teams on your clients
- You’re driven by insights and analyses and build your strategies comprehensively and logically on them
- You have a very good understanding of digital experience mechanisms
- You enjoy providing strategic advice to clients and are successful at selling your expertise profitably
- You bring previous experience having worked with agencies, with tech agencies as a plus
- You are enthusiastic about current digital industry discussions and trends
- You have experience with technology environments and possess a high level understanding of Platform and UX and UI Design
- You are able to present your complex strategic ideas clearly on slides
- Can give clear instructions for future actions because you have a very good understanding of reporting and analysis
- Professional working proficiency in German with excellent English skills, capable of working with clients in German
