This is a full time role of 40 hours per week, various shifts available , these will be varied, 4 days per week and 1 Saturday in 4.
You will be working as part of a friendly and supportive team in our busy small animal practice. We believe our receptionists are key in providing the excellent client care we pride ourselves on.
You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure, show empathy in each situation you encounter, have the ability to multitask, be reliable, punctual and have a passion for excellent customer care.
Day to day tasks of this role will include answering the phones, provide a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, taking payments and keeping the reception area clean and tidy.
The successful candidate must have
- Experience in a reception or customer service role
- Good IT skills
- Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Good organisational and prioritising skills
- The ability to stay focused under pressure and to multitask
- Flexibility for cover in the event of staff sickness or holiday
- Previous veterinary knowledge desirable but not essential
