The Client AdviserUK Offshore is the face of Rothschild & Co's business. The Client Adviser leads new client acquisition and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, and financial planning.

The successful candidate will focus on acquiring and retaining HNW & UHNW clients either in the UK or affiliated with the UK. A proven track record in market and product expertise, along with strong business development skills, is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to formulate and execute on a 3-5 years strategy & business plan with target AuM
  • Proven successful track record in building trusted relationships with clients, client acquisition and delivering excellent service
  • Find opportunities liaising with teams across our locations in Europe, particularly the UK, to ensure seamless service and integrated solutions for clients.
  • A passion to perform in a highly motivated team, entrepreneurial attitude and teamwork are essential
  • Ability to provide strong financial and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; persuasive personality

Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required

  • Solid business experience of 5-10 years in Private Banking covering UK clients
  • To be well-connected within the UK business ecosystem is an asset, with a strategic angle, whether in a sector or a target market segmentation
  • Strong knowledge of global financial markets and experience in structuring and managing portfolios across all asset classes
  • Good foundations and experience in financial planning, including tax, legal and estate planning knowledge
  • Person of integrity, high sense of responsibility, personal engagement/initiative, pronounced entrepreneurial attitude, seeking continuous improvement
  • Creative mind in finding investment solutions for clients in challenging market circumstances
  • Awareness and knowledge of compliance, legal and regulatory practices in the relevant markets
  • Flexibility, curiosity, ‘can-do’ attitude, high interpersonal competence, proactive
