Cleaning Supervisor

Salary - Up to 30k

Grade - 4.1

Hours - 37.5 per week - Monday to Friday between the hours of 12:00 - 21:00

Location - Kingswood House, Cannock, WS11 8JP

What will you be doing?

• Manage, support and coordinate the cleaning team

• Provide and maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for staff, users and visitors across site

• Conduct monthly audit checks and complete inspection reports

• Manage cleaning schedules, supplies and equipment

• Provide training, guidance and performance feedback to team members

• Ensure compliance of Veolia’s Health & Safety policy; having specific regard to colour coding, COSHH, Risk Assessments and safe working practice
   

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor or senior cleaning role

• Strong leadership, organisational skills and high attention to detail

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products and safety standards

• Good communication skills and ability to motivate a team

• Good IT skills for reports

• The right to work in the UK

Desirable;

• BICSc Assesors qualification or BICSc Level 3

• Previous experience conducting quality audits and compliance documentation

• Experience of cleaning in a large public building, knowledge of Blood Bourne Pathogen risk, knowledge of BICSc recommended Colour Coding and knowledge of COSHH Legislation

• IOSH

• Full UK driving licence
