The opportunity
As a Claims Officer in our Elders Heavy Haulage team, you’ll manage claims for vehicles over 4.5 tonnes and farm machinery. This is your chance to build strong relationships, develop specialist knowledge, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your work truly matters. You will ideally have claims experience although if you have exceptional call centre/customer service experience and are keen to learn, this could also be the opportunity for you!
Your new role
Provide excellent service to our customers, Elders Agents, and other stakeholders.
Process claims accurately and promptly, following QBE policies and procedures.
Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with customers and service providers.
Work with internal and external specialists to achieve fair and efficient claim outcomes.
Develop your skills through ongoing training and professional development.
Promote QBE’s products and services through positive interactions and support.
About you
Prior experience in insurance claims (heavy haulage experience is highly desirable but not mandatory) and/or call centre, customer service, or administration roles.
Strong customer focus with an empathetic approach and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Ability to work across multiple systems with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Skilled in managing competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Confident decision-maker with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, including a professional phone manner and ability to multitask effectively.
