The Claims Officer will provide crucial support to our business and our customers, which in turn will provide fundamental knowledge of frontline claims management. Through working closely with experienced team members within our operations team, you will become familiar with multiple areas of the return to work scheme and legislation.

This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in a structured learning journey, building foundational knowledge while contributing to a positive customer experience and overall business performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim file documentation in line with internal policies and compliance requirements.
  • Review medical and supporting documentation to make informed, evidence based decisions in line with legislative and policy requirements
  • Engage with workers, employers, treatment providers and key stakeholders to support injury recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
  • Proactively identify, report and escalate any emerging or potential  risks to management in a timely manner.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • Exceptional communication skills across face-to-face, phone and written channels.
  • Strong customer service capability, with the ability to take a holistic approach while remaining impartial, empathetic and professional.
  • Experience with Salesforce and the Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, demonstrating resilience, adaptability and the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
