The opportunity:
As our Claims Digital & Technology Lead, you’ll own the UK Claims digital and technology strategy and bring it to life through a clearly defined roadmap. Reporting directly to the Claims & Legal Services Director, you’ll play a key role in the UK Claims Leadership Team and work closely with IT, Operations and the wider business.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll take end‑to‑end ownership of claims digital transformation, including:
Strategy & roadmap
Own and evolve the UK Claims digital & technology strategy, aligned to business goals and market trends
Build, maintain and communicate a clear, deliverable transformation roadmap
Delivery & collaboration
Act as the single point of contact for all digital and technology initiatives impacting UK Claims
Partner closely with IT and senior team members to translate claims requirements into practical, scalable solutions
Lead the identification, evaluation and adoption of best‑in‑market technology across claims systems, automation, data and AI
Change & adoption
Drive effective change management, ensuring teams embrace and fully benefit from new tools and processes
Shape and deliver communications and training to support successful adoption
Innovation & performance
Keep ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing forward innovative recommendations
Define and track critical metrics to measure impact on claims performance and customer experience
Governance
Ensure all solutions meet regulatory requirements, data standards and internal governance controls
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical claims understanding with commercial insight and the ability to engage with our operations, technical, IT and other departments to push our digital claims journey forward.
You’ll need:
Shown experience leading digital and technology initiatives within insurance claims (or a closely related area)
A deep understanding of claims operations, processes and systems
Demonstrated success delivering digital strategies and transformation roadmaps
Experience working cross‑functionally and influencing senior collaborators
A strong delivery record across complex technology or change initiatives
Knowledge of claims platforms, automation, AI / ML, cloud technologies and data analytics
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach
It’s a bonus if you have:
Experience working within regulated insurance environments
Professional certifications in digital transformation, project management or relevant technologies
