Your new role  

Reporting to Assistant Claims Manager you will provide operational support to the Technical Excellence Audit teams and wider department. The role is designed to ensure the consistent, accurate, and timely completion of audit administration and regulatory tasks. This role offers exposure to audit activity, automation oversight, and regulatory processes, with scope to expand responsibilities as skills and experience develop.

Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role.  QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion. 

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting the audit team with tasks involved in setting up and completing an audit.

  • Support the maintenance of audit trackers, issues logs, and action plans

  • Assist with excel management be that payment spreadsheets or audit output data

  • Assisting wider department with and required tasks such as payment processing

  • Assist with some audits and help reporting on the results

  • Help the wider team identify conduct, regulatory, and financial risks arising from audit findings.

  • Maintain appropriate audit documentation and evidence to support internal and external review.


About you  

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage recurring monthly tasks.

  • Basic IT skills, with confidence using systems, spreadsheets, and MS Systems.

  • Ability to follow defined processes and work to deadlines.

  • A proactive and reliable approach to workload management.

Desirable

  • Experience in an administrative/customer service, quality, or operational support role.

  • Interest in developing skills in audit or data quality.
