Principal Highway Engineer – Transport
Adelaide, SA | Major Transport Projects | Strategic Leadership Role
Lead the delivery of complex and meaningful infrastructure projects across the Transport sectors. This senior leadership role will see you drive technical excellence, mentor a growing team, and shape the future of civil engineering at KBR.
What You’ll Do:
Provide strategic direction, technical oversight, and mentorship to engineers and designers.
Lead planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.
Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines with a focus on risk mitigation and quality outcomes.
Support bids and proposals, and contribute to business development and market growth.
Build and maintain strong client relationships across government and private sectors.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Chartered Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).
15+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in Defence and/or Civil infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary design teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Senior Civil Engineer – Defence and Civil Infrastructure
Adelaide, SA | Diverse Civil Projects | Career Growth Opportunity
Play a key role in delivering strategic infrastructure projects across Defence and Civil Infrastructure sectors. You’ll contribute to civil design for roads, rail, water infrastructure, land development, and building-civil works.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver engineering design, calculations, technical specifications, and reports.
Lead and manage design teams to meet technical, quality, and delivery standards.
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally.
Mentor junior engineers and support discipline development.
Assist in bids and tender submissions.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
CPEng preferred (or ability to obtain chartership within agreed timeframe).
Experience in civil design for Defence, Civil Infrastructure and Building-Civil projects.
Strong consulting background and multidisciplinary project experience.
