Job Description:
Civil Engineer (Roads, Infrastructure, Bridges)
Dubai, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in design review and construction related to structural works of the project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer (RE) as required, ensuring seamless project oversight.
Ensure construction and operations & maintenance (O&M) work align with the Contract Documents, meeting the required standards.
Actively participate in contract administration and related activities.
Review and evaluate Contractor’s submissions, providing clear feedback.
Offer on-site guidance and issue site instructions to ensure work proceeds according to the plan.
Supervise the site inspection team, ensuring thorough and effective inspections.
Perform regular checks and measurements of completed work to confirm accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and practices on-site.
Oversee the quality control of materials and workmanship to maintain high standards.
Track and record project progress against the established program, identifying any discrepancies.
Prepare detailed progress reports to keep stakeholders informed on project status.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings and documentation
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of work experience with infrastructure projects like roads, utilities and bridges within UAE.
Dubai experience is preferred.
Experience in fast track prestigious projects is preferred.
Knowledge and experience using computer software.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
