Job Summary: The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision and direction to the ODNI enterprise. This includes synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, and cross-functional issues. The COO oversees all ODNI business operations, including such areas as human resources, internal policies, finance and budget, information technology, security, facilities, and information management.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Mandatory Requirements: Knowledge of and experience in the ODNI, Intelligence Community, and CIS mission and responsibilities. Basic ability to lead an investigative team, develop investigation plans, conduct complex investigation projects, and write reports to substantiate findings. Basic knowledge of investigative techniques and the laws, rules, regulations, and objectives of ODNI and the IC; Basic ability to interview, follow leads, research records, reconstruct events, and prepare reports; Basic ability to exercise sound judgment and form objective conclusions/recommendations based on empirical facts, evidence, and other pertinent information. Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, and develop recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative data. Basic ability to examine information, identify problems, uncover root causes, develop findings and leads, and make cogent, actionable recommendations. Experience: One to three years relevant professional experience required. Education: Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline with a preference for Criminal Justice or Psychology of a related area. Desired Requirements: Certifications/Licenses: CI Investigator certification or equivalent Federal Law Enforcement certification, or the ability to attain this certification, is preferred but not required at this grade level.
