The Chopin Program Lead owns the execution and operational leadership of the Chopin and Chopin PLUS programs, serving as the final quality, readiness, and risk gate before HP Gaming and Consumer devices reach press reviewers, influencers, media events, and executive stakeholders.
This role ensures that all externally facing systems meet performance, stability, and experience expectations, while driving cross-functional coordination and issue resolution across engineering, PR, and supply chain.
Operating at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market execution, this role plays a critical part in protecting brand reputation, enabling scalable PR execution, and ensuring launch excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead execution of key programs across Consumer and Gaming Solutions
Own device readiness processes to ensure systems are fully validated for external exposure
Drive alignment between product readiness, PR timelines, and launch requirements
Own tracking, prioritization, and closure of hardware, firmware, OS, and experience-related issues
Partner with System Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams to drive resolution
Ensure only stable, high-quality systems are approved for reviewer and event use
Act as a single-threaded operational owner across Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Factory teams
Drive clear communication, escalation management, and alignment across stakeholders
Bridge technical and business priorities to ensure launch readiness
Support engagement with press reviewers and influencers during reviews, workshops, and early evaluations
Lead issue intake, validation, and coordination of resolution workflows
Ensure flawless execution of media events, workshops, and launch moments
Own and enhance Chopin PLUS dashboards, reporting systems, and workflows
Drive improvements in data accuracy, operational efficiency, and process scalability
Establish repeatable best practices for review readiness and execution
Consistent delivery of reviewer-ready systems across all launches and events
Effective issue management and resolution velocity across HW/SW domains
Zero critical failures during press reviews, workshops, and launch events
Accurate, real-time program tracking and reporting
Continuous improvement in Chopin operational efficiency and scalability
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
5–8+ years of experience in product engineering, quality, program management, or NPI environments
Strong understanding of PC systems (hardware, firmware, OS, performance)
Proven experience driving cross-functional execution and issue resolution
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and operational rigor
Experience supporting press reviews, product launches, or media events
Familiarity with gaming systems and performance benchmarking
Experience with dashboarding, reporting tools, and process optimization
Exposure to supply chain, factory, or ODM/OEM environments
Ownership mindset with strong accountability
