What you will do
The Head of Project Delivery will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery within the Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning & Cooling, and Industrial Refrigeration (HVAC/R) business in China. This role will report directly to VP & GM, China HVAC/R and to VP, Project Delivery, APAC, and will have the Project Managers (PMs) reporting to him/her. Key responsibilities include:
- Revenue Execution: Drive end-to-end execution from order to revenue, to meet monthly and quarterly HVAC/R revenue plan, including but not limited to daily war room revenue forecasting, risk mitigation & escalation, and schedule management.
- Portfolio Oversight: Ensure all backlog and forelog projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. You will also be responsible for measuring portfolio performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Process Excellence: Lead the regular project process/cadence governance and continuous improvement for project delivery, including but not limited to reviews for Backlog, billing, inventory, job cost, freight review, open PO, and quality dispute & risk escalation.
- Project Team Leadership: Lead the PM team, which includes hiring, developing and managing project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and providing guidance and support to team members.
What we look for
Required
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Construction Management or Business
- At least ten years of experience from industrial MNCs, project execution, project operations or PMO experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English
- Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems
- Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and other project management tools
Preferred
- PMI, PMP and/or (Lean) Six Sigma certified
- Continuous improvement, change management or enterprise transformation experience preferred
- Experience from HVAC/R or manufacturing environment preferred
