Position Summary:
Supports group and remote programming as a part of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies, including the Child Life Center, Teen Lounge and Sibling Care. Offers developmentally appropriate activities to foster normalization and promote healing for the whole family.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years experience working with children and families required.
  • 1+ years experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience with patient assessment and documentation preferred.
  • Leadership role in development and coordination of special events programs.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Technology/closed circuit television programming.
  • Day to evening coverage (Monday-Friday). Provides occasional Saturday coverage to assist with weekend programming/special events.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required.
