Job Summary: About the position: This position is located at the Cheli, Misawa AB, Japan. The age range for children at this facility is 5 - 12 years old. This is a Flexible category position; guaranteed 0 hours per week but may work up to 40 hours a week depending on the needs of the facility. Must possess maturity and good judgment and like working with children, youth, and their parents. AND CY PROGRAM ASSISTANT (ENTRY LEVEL): This is an entry level position; little or no previous training or experience is required. Qualifying Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent). Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. This is an entry level position no training or experience is required. Condition(s) of Employment: Must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination, and have required immunizations. Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation installation, state and national criminal background checks is required. Must satisfactorily complete mandatory training as specified below.
