The Boeing CompanyWorkforce Strategy organization has an exciting opportunity for a Chief of Staff Senior Manager to partner and support the Vice President (VP), Workforce Strategy.
The Senior Manager acts as a key strategic partner to the VP and executive leadership team, playing a crucial role in defining organizational priorities, managing daily operations, and developing and executing comprehensive strategies. This leader will manage a team, requiring exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with strong HR and business acumen, strategic thinking, strong execution and integration skills, robust project management capabilities and a passion for making the company better.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Workforce Strategy and Labor Relations Executive Leadership Team to plan and manage executive agendas, design leadership meetings, and prepare the leader for key engagements
Translate the VP, Workforce Strategy's priorities into clear agendas and decision briefs while synthesizing complex inputs into concise insights
Track the VP, Workforce Strategy's commitments and decisions, ensure clear ownership and accountability, proactively identify risks or misalignments, and coordinate necessary follow-ups across leaders
Draft and coordinate the VP, Workforce Strategy's communications to leaders and the organization, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with the VP's intent and enterprise priorities, while supporting communication planning for key announcements and milestones.
Serve as a coordination point with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners, manage requests to prioritize the VP’s attention, and represent the VP in meetings, conferences, and events
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a role utilizing HR and business acumen and understanding
3+ years of experience in a leadership role
3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership
Experience with project management skills that involve cross functional/business units with a track record of successful execution
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, Business Administration, or related field
Experience balancing multiple tasks concurrently and paying close attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
