Salary Range: $143913 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a CHIEF OF STAFF for the Deputy Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Aircraft Carriers of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE CARRIERS.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the principle advisor to the senior leadership in all areas of the organization including the development, direction, and continuity of policies, programs, and operations.
  • You will formulate, coordinate, review, and evaluate the effectiveness of organization operating policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • You will develop long range plans with the strategic vision of the organization, exercising originality and judgment in accomplishing responsibilities that contribute significantly in guiding and shaping the future of the organization.
  • You will ensure resources required by the organization are managed within the framework of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES).
  • You will preview and advise senior leadership on major organizational movements and purchases.
  • You will provide detailed analysis of the overall organizations acquisition portfolio and identifies alignment opportunities across the organization which gain efficiencies, economy, and/or capitalizes on synergy within the portfolio.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing programmatic and technical leadership over ship or major weapon system acquisition, development, design, or maintenance to support the life cycle and modernization of fleet shipbuilding plans.
