General Summary:

The Chief, Global Strategy & Marketing will play a key role in supporting execution of global strategy plans for anime content. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Production, Marketing, PR, Licensees, Distributors, and IP owners to ensure cohesive, best-in-class global campaign activations through 360 marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and action plans to meet business objectives.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and implement multi-platform marketing initiatives.
  • Social & Digital Marketing: Draft and schedule posts, engage communities, monitor trends, and create platform‑specific content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).
  • Event & Asset Management: Coordinate and execute events, conventions, and trade shows. Develop promotional assets and copy, including press releases, advertisements, website content, and video materials.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and key customer insights. Track and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and refine plans as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with producers, IP owners, partners, and licensees to drive the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and internal documentation.

Experience required:

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in content, anime marketing, or the licensing industry.

  • Language Proficiency: Native-level Japanese and advanced English.

  • Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver well-structured presentations.
  • Critical Thinking: Willingness to challenge and debate important issues.
  • Decision-Making: Clear thinking with the ability to make sound and timely decisions.
