Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Business Partnering
Act as a Strategic Financial Partner to the General Manager and local management team, providing strategic advisory and reliable recommendations.
Manage all financial assets in accordance with the company's strategy, global guidelines, and local legislation.
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, influencing the decision-making process and supporting team synergy.
Actively contribute to global finance team initiatives, representing the interests and specifics of the local affiliate.
2. Operations, Reporting & Treasury
Responsible for optimizing budgeting, reporting, accounting, and treasury processes and systems (including advanced use of SAP).
Ensure the integrity and timely preparation of statutory and management reports, financial forecasts, and budgets, in compliance with both Group and local standards.
Prepare periodic cash flow plans and forecast short- and long-term cash outflows, while optimizing tax responsibilities.
3. Leadership & Organizational Development
Provide direction, lead, and develop the finance team, reviewing the organizational structure and managing talent recruitment and retention.
Successfully initiate and drive organizational change processes, fostering a culture of innovation and proactivity.
4. Governance, Risk & Ethics (Pharma Specific)
Configure, monitor, and evaluate internal control systems and financial/business risks, proactively reporting critical situations.
Act as an ambassador for integrity. Ensure strict adherence to Group ethical standards, participate in mandatory training, and promote an ethical business culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
Higher education degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or in a similar senior financial role within an international company for a minimum of 10 years.
Solid experience in leading and developing teams.
Previous financial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Knowledge (Hard Skills):
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, legislation, and best practices.
Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP / financial management software (especially SAP).
English language (written and spoken) – advanced level.
