Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer oversees Memorial Hospital Miramar's financial planning, budgeting, and ongoing adherence to budget, as well as policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership.Responsibilities:
Recommends current financial and industry trends for cost effective and efficient solutions.Serves as liaison for financial matters between the hospital and executive leadership, management, financial institutions and regulatory agencies.Serves as a member of the leadership team and participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short/long-term objectives.Directs/manages the hospital's financial, accounting, budgeting, audit/controls/standards/activities and statistical reporting.Competencies:

Complexity of Work: Deep understanding of hospital finance, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance. Required Work Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive financial leadership experience. Experience as a senior financial executive in a hospital or health system managing financial operations. Other Information: Additional Education Information: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.Additional Certification Information: CPA certification is preferred but not required.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
