Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Drive the development of the global technology roadmap and manage product lifecycles.
  • Assume technical ownership of complex design engineering projects and challenging problems.
  • Develop and implement advanced design methodologies, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency.
  • Lead creation and execution of product testing strategies, tools, and processes.
  • Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Conduct product risk assessments and DFMEA, implementing actions to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare patents and technical papers for conferences and technical publications.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and providing expert support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Technology Group in key engagements.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer
  • At least 10 - 15 years’ working experience in similar role in mineral processing equipment and systems.
  • Have a proven ability to carry out engineering and develop related deliverables such as technical specifications, test plans, requests for quote, technical reports, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge in FEA and ANSYS software
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modelling software
  • Advanced knowledge in high-cycle fatigue, specifically in welded steel structures.
