As a Chief Accountant in our team, you’ll:

• Ensuring that all bookkeeping activities are completed in time, accurately and according to statutory regulations and internal month-end procedure;
• Being directly involved in the Statutory Reporting function, liaising with State Bodies to ensure compliance with latest relevant legislation;
• Maintaining and developing the accounting system;
• Preparation and submission of Tax declarations & returns as per statutory rules
• Coordinate outsourced accountant team (GBS) to ensure proper accounting treatment as per statutory and Aptiv EDS policy requirements are followed.

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Higher education in Finance (Accounting& Tax, Economics, Finance)
• Certified public accountant
• Accounting/Financial reporting knowledge (Hungarian statutory, USGAAP)
• 2 years+ experience in Accountant role
• Strong computer skills (MSOffice, especially Excel)
• SAP knowledge
• Strong level of English, spoken and written
• Organizational capacity
• Pressure resistance capacity
• Ability to be results-oriented
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems
• Ability to work in a team
