Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift Patterns: This role operates on a 2-week rotating shift pattern with 6am starts.

Location: Euxton Hall Hospital

Summary:

Opened in 1983, Euxton Hall Private Hospital is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals situated on the outskirts of Chorley but close to Preston and Wigan with easy access to the M65, M6 and M61 motorways. The facility offers 22 beds all with en suite facilities to ensure complete privacy and by investing in advanced medical technology offers a wide range of treatments and services. On site there are two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres and a small treatment room.

The role:

An exciting opportunity for a Chef has arisen at Euxton Hospital. Working alongside our Head Chef you will be responsible for the development and provision of high-quality nutritious meals served to our patients and staff daily.  The role includes supervising of six Catering Assistants and being responsible for the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.  The working hours are on a fortnightly roster to include weekends, with days off taken during the week. 

As the Chef, you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.

This role will involve food preparation, cooking and service to our patients, staff, consultants and visitors. Hours will be flexible on a shift pattern, Monday to Sunday.

You will need to have a good understanding of current health and hygiene regulations, and ensure that these are adhered to in the preparation and service of all food items.

  • Experience working as a Chef

  • Minimum of level 2 Basic Food hygiene
