£28.06 per hour
Overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate

As a PSV Chargehand, you will support the Engineering Manager in ensuring the depot fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with Arriva and DVSA standards
Supporting continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
MOT preparation and quality compliance checks
Planned preventative maintenance campaigns
Vehicle fault diagnosis and rectification
Ensuring all maintenance exceeds DVSA requirements and meets Arriva’s high standards
Promoting safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety legislation
Essential:
Level 3 NVQ / IRTEC qualification (or equivalent)
Knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance
Strong understanding of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
Desirable:
Experience inspecting vehicles for scheduled maintenance
Knowledge of electrical circuits and systems
