AL CO2 Europe SA, filiale à 100% du Groupe Air Liquide, réunit les activités de production et de distribution du CO2 en Europe et définit la politique commerciale du CO2 sur cette zone. Cette société compte 12 usines de production réparties sur 8 pays et sert près de 3 000 clients, de l’industrie agro-alimentaire au secteur du transport.


 

Quelle sera votre contribution et comment vous épanouir dans ce poste ?


 

Coordinate the daily delivery of product to the customers at the lowest cost of distribution & taking into account legal & operational constraints (compliance with local transportation regulations; product availability; availability of vehicles & drivers...).


 

Within Air Liquide CO2 Europe's logistics division, based in St Priest, the bulk planner is responsible for organising delivery rounds for customers, in compliance with regulations and safety rules, and in accordance with distribution procedures. He plays an active role in customer satisfaction.


Covering France and Great Britain
Main Accountabilities :

  • Complying with distribution procedures and best practices and mastering distribution tools
  • Organising and optimising delivery rounds, taking into account hazardous materials regulations, safety rules, contractual commitments, customer and equipment constraints:
  • Taking into account customer stock level alarms
  • Selecting customers to deliver to based on customer stock levels and consumption profiles, orders received and customer constraints
  • Taking product availability into account
  • Taking the availability of rolling stock and the maintenance schedule for semi-trailers into account
  • Ensuring the quality of the product delivered is adequate, in accordance with customer contractual commitments
  • Plan routes in accordance with best practices in order to optimise transport costs
  • Manage contingencies and adapt routes in real time.
  • Estimate CO2 requirements for your scope, as well as transport resources (transport contracts and semi-trailers).
  • Control costs.
  • Validate mileage, hours and services confirmed by carriers in the distribution tool.
  • Monitor and track activity indicators, analyse results and performance using available tools (Power BI, ALTO, etc.)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and data quality
  • Keep data up to date to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity
  • Tools: participate in training and put developments into practice
  • Contribute to operational safety
  • After receiving the necessary training, carry out safety visits during deliveries to customer sites
  • Participate in the monitoring of dangerous situations reported by drivers in your sector
  • Participate in driver meetings
  • Ensure good communication with internal and external contacts (regular communication in English within the entity)
  • Participate to the logistics on-call service within for the UK perimeter


 

Etes-vous LA personne faite pour ce poste ?


 

With a four-year degree in logistics/transport, you have initial successful operational experience in a transport or logistics position in an international environment.
You are organised, methodical and have strong analytical and decision-making skills.
You are responsive and able to manage priorities in urgent situations. Your adaptability allows you to quickly adjust to new tools and new working environments.
You are strongly customer-focused and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
C1 level English is mandatory (for France and Great Britain) (tests to be carried out).
Experience in an English-speaking country is desirable, at least in an international position with daily interaction in English.
