Meaningful Work From Day One

Main purpose of this role is to deliver the KPIs - sales volume, sales revenue, distribution, visibility, coverage) for the Brown Forman portfolio in off-trade by leading the Key Account team and partnering with customers. As an outcome, the off trade customers will achieve the targets on volume, presence and prominence of BF brands and will become solid partners with BF Korea.

What You Can Expect


Strategy, Planning and Execution

  • Define customer priorities and winning strategies following B-F Korea channel priorities
  • Lead the annual, quarterly, monthly delivery planning by translating BF business strategy and plan into channel and customer level plan
  • Deliver sales and brand strategy execution in the targeted channels and customers to keep the stores the best in class in presence and prominence
  • Manage Off Trade budget ensuring that every activity is aligned to brand plans and delivers maximum return on investment in a BF compliant way
  • Review strategy and plan execution against customer trends and bring ideas to make material impact on plans and growth


Leadership of Execution and Team Management

  • Ensure that the team implements and evaluates trade programs to the required level of impact and effectiveness within the set timing and budgets
  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, and other cross functions to ensure a seamless operation and collaborative approach to sales activities
  • Manage, coach and develop a group of the key account managers to be ready for successful negotiation and sales call
  • Execute regular and systematic trade visits with the key account managers for the assigned channels according to the work plan
  • Communicate direction clearly and regularly to the team and motivate the team behind improving their role with support from Commercial Way and our goals to improve physical and mental availability


Account Management

  • Establish and maintain effective business relationships with key customers, ensuring that B-F is recognized as the category expert and a responsive, professional business partner
  • Develop the robust Join Business Plan to deliver mutual goal of BF and customers and lead a JBP process with customer 
  • Engage customer VITO and build solid partnership
  • Lead annual contract negotiation to set the desired KPIs that is favorable for BF topline and bottomline
  • Continually review plans to achieve sales targets weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Provide ROI analysis to management for material investments and all outlet contracts
  • Provide regular communication of relevant information on channel competitor activity and category trends as well as highlights opportunities and threats to the business

What You Bring to the Table

  • Hands-on experience and Joint Business Planning (JBP) experience with off-trade customers.
  • People and team management experience
  • Strong business acumen to define and deliver the commercial priorities
  • Minimum 10 years of Sales experience with +5 years of field sales experience (esp. Hypermarket and CVS)
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent coach and developer of people
