Job Description Summary

The Channel Excellence Leader is responsible for driving growth through channel partners and the GE Healthcare (GEHC) product portfolio. This role ensures both financial and non-financial performance, maintains compliance, manages risk within regional standards, and enhances channel sales effectiveness.

The position requires close collaboration with country sales managers and channel teams to identify opportunities within existing and alternative distribution channels. The leader will spearhead initiatives to develop channel partners and enable sustainable business growth.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy Deployment: Execute channel strategies and initiatives in alignment with the AKA Channel Excellence Director and Country Sales Managers.
  • Governance Channel Partner Lifecycle: finding new channel partners, onboarding, learning & development, finance and contracts until offboarding & transition plan.
  • Operational Execution: Implement the operational framework across the countries, including forecasting and planning for existing and alternative channel partners within the assigned territory.
  • Channel Optimization: Maximize utilization of existing channels, streamline operations where appropriate, and develop strategies to identify, onboard, and manage new channels leveraging regional synergies.
  • Partner Evaluation: Assess channel partner efficiency based on coverage, segmentation, sales force performance, geographic reach, and key customer engagement.
  • Channel Partner Performance Reviews: Conduct operational performance reviews with channel partners and ensure consistent information flow between GE and partners.
  • Funnel Management: Ensure timely submission of funnels and estimates from partners and integrate them into Salesforce opportunity management tools where applicable.
  • Compliance & Governance: Monitor adherence to efficiency metrics (e.g., linearity, credit lines, pricing, historical performance, financial reporting, market share) and enforce compliance standards.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with channel partners and provide transactional and compliance support.
  • Data & Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of channel inventory, installed base, competency maps, and coverage maps.
  • Market Intelligence: Map competitor channels, analyze strengths and weaknesses, and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential partners.
  • Marketing Support: Track and enhance marketing collaboration activities between Channel partners and GEHC.
  • Capability Development: Ensure channel partners have adequately trained teams with strong technical and commercial competencies to meet GEHC standards. Manage and develop channel partner teams while deploying standardized channel management practices.
  • Agreements & Transitions: Execute distribution and commission agreements promptly and manage partner transitions with minimal business disruption.

Requirements & Desired Characteristics

  • 5 years of experience in a commercial role with a proven track record of business growth.
  • Expertise in channel enablement and reporting systems, including quoting tools and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end sales processes and experience working with cross-functional teams (Inquiry-to-Order, Order-to-Remittance, Finance, Services, Country Sales).
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional coordination, commercial acumen, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely; proactive and accountable for deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and compliance orientation.
  • Proven success in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent process improvement certification preferred.
