The Channel Development Professional II partners with business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams to support the delivery of high-value solutions. This role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into clear requirements, and ensuring solutions align with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets. The Channel Development Professional II serves as a key liaison between business and technical teams, supporting prioritization, analysis, and decision-making. Work involves moderately complex initiatives and is performed in general direction, with opportunities to influence team outcomes and process improvements.
This role will be remote / work-from-home.

The Channel Development Professional II is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements that support product vision and roadmap execution. This role works closely with Product Owners, business leaders, developers, and UX partners to ensure solutions meet user and business needs. Assignments involve moderately complex issues requiring thoughtful analysis of processes, data, and variable factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategy, goals, and objectives, translating them into clear and actionable requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Delivery Leads to clarify scope, priorities, and dependencies across initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
  • Perform current-state and future-state analysis, including process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
  • Support problem-solving and decision-making using a data-driven analytical approach, including contributing to success metrics and OKRs.
  • Assist with backlog readiness by ensuring requirements are clearly defined, understood, and prioritized for Agile teams.
  • Clearly articulate the business value and expected outcomes of proposed solutions when partnering with development and UX teams.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across processes, tools, and ways of working; provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Support identification and documentation of risks and impacts related to business processes and system changes in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews) by providing requirements clarity and stakeholder context.

Required Qualifications

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud or Health Cloud experience
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex or ambiguous problems
  • Understanding of user experience principles and how business processes translate into effective system solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability in a dynamic Agile environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver Safety Program and requires:
    • A valid state driver's license
    • Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
