Channel and Product Fulfilment Operations Team Leader

Job Description

To oversee the channel and product fulfilment process by engaging in planning, managing specialists, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. To collaborate with senior management and other inter-departmental teams to align operations with business goals, enhance client satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence
  • Develop and implement operational plans for fulfilment operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the performance of specialists, providing direction and support.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in fulfilment processes.
  • Ensure all fulfilment operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with channel and product fulfilment.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
  • Ensure resolution of customer queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Collect and interrogate information and feedback to ensure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality service.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and service level agreements.
  • Prepare and analyse reports on operational performance, client satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align operations with business goals.
  • Oversee the integration of technology solutions to enhance account fulfilment processes.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of account fulfilment processes.
  • Remain up to date with regulatory changes and ensure the team is always informed and compliant.
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively shared.
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level.
  • Knowledge of Botswana banking regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant banking software and systems
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to banking, company policies, and operations. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management and external stakeholders
