Role Description
Matterport is looking to hire a Channel Account Manager who is responsible for delivering revenue growth with partner communities in North America along with our E-Commerce Partners. The successful candidate will coordinate, implement and manage all sales activities with the partner/reseller sales teams to achieve the desired revenue goals with partners. You will report to the Director of Channel Sales in the United States.
This is an in-office role located in Arlington, Virginia.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by closing new accounts and growing revenues across existing partners
Provide customer and competitor feedback and field intelligence where available and necessary
Prepare and implement strategic sales account plans for all Partners/VARs and identify business growth opportunities in assigned territory
Collaborate with the Global team to support the overall growth of our channel program, development of partner-facing collateral and sales tools, tracking and internal communication tools, and marketing programs
Maintain quarterly business plans and lead weekly regular performance / relationship reviews with Channel Partner senior leadership
Provide weekly regular forecasts for your territory
Coordinate with partners to develop a joint business plan to achieve mutually agreed upon business objectives.
Continually interface with program members to define/refine program requirements and roadmap
Execute the company’s E-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
5+ years of experience in quota carrying sales role, preferably channel sales
Experience selling with and through North American and Latin American channel partners/VARs
Demonstrated success exceeding sales objectives
Track history of successfully selling SAAS solutions
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to secure meetings and close business with senior-level channel executives
Strong independent work ethic and experience working in a dynamic culture
Ability to travel across North, Central, & South America
