Contract Duration: Up to 16 Months

Are you a customer centric, enthusiastic, multifaceted individual looking to help the LCBO increase change capability? Reporting to the Director, Organizational Development, you will be instrumental in helping the LCBO to transform, by helping employees and leaders champion, lead and support change. Your role will provide hands-on support for divisional and organizational changes such as transforming business processes, policies, technologies and culture. You will lead change initiatives through envisioning, planning, and delivering training, and change management consulting to engage stakeholders and drive user adoption.

About the Role

  • Apply a structured change management process and tools to support adoption and sustainment of changes.
  • Coach leaders and project managers on organizational change management, and the use of established tools to support their changes
  • Develop and execute change management programs in the context of assigned projects.
  • Conduct stakeholder and impact analyses, assess risks, determine appropriate change support and mitigating actions.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Human Resources (Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development and others), Sponsors, Stakeholders and Project teams to develop and execute coordinated change management and communications plans.
  • Proactively identify and address issues and risks; develop appropriate interventions.
  • Create all change management deliverables and partner with the business to deliver results throughout the project/initiative lifecycle.
  • Facilitate working sessions as needed to support the completion of deliverables for assigned projects. 
  • Create and facilitate training to continue to build the LCBO’s organizational change management competency to support transformation and business goals.
  • Support the continual improvement of the LCBO’s change management methodology and tools.

About You

  • Post-secondary education in Psychology, Communication, Business or a related field of study or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of change management experience leading and supporting change initiatives.
  • 3+ years of consulting and project management experience at an organizational level (e.g., building change management plans and deliverables).
  • A proven understanding of fundamental Change Management methods and deliverables achieve through a Change Management Certification or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, energetic and professional demeanor, and very client oriented.
  • Ability to develop and execute change management programs for large scale change efforts and persuasively present and influence executive management.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships and represent the business in change planning.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and root cause identification.
  • Adaptable, resilient and able to work in ambiguous/changing environments.
  • Able to partner with vendors when required, to co-create change tools, training and assigned project change plans.
  • Proven experience in the design/development of adult learning development.
