Change Management Communications Lead

USA-MSP-2900 Ames Crossing Road Full time

Thomson Reuters is seeking a dynamic, strategic Change Management Communications Lead to elevate how we communicate the value, progress, and impact of our technology transformation to executive stakeholders. In this role, you will shape narratives, enable informed decision‑making, and align cross‑functional teams around shared goals.

We are modernizing our commercial systems and consolidating multiple legacy ERP platforms into a unified SAP S/4HANA ecosystem across multiple entities and countries, as part of a multi‑year transformation roadmap.

We're looking for a proven communications leader who has successfully navigated this level of complexity multiple times and can serve as the communications champion for executive clarity, reporting, and change management.

Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Architecture, this hybrid individual contributor role operates at the intersection of communication and execution — working closely with senior stakeholders while maintaining enough technical depth to drive effective change communications.

About the Role

You will work closely with senior leaders across Commercial & Corporate Engineering, Commercial Excellence, Customer to Cash, and other stakeholder groups to:

  • Craft compelling, executive‑ready content, including white papers, dashboards, roadmaps, and strategic updates.

  • Lead the development of communication frameworks that support transformation programs, AI enablement, and innovation roadmaps.

  • Create clear, concise internal communications that connect complex technology initiatives to business outcomes.

About You

You're a fit for the Change Management Communications Lead role if your background includes:

Executive Storytelling & Strategic Messaging

  • Developing high‑impact narratives for executive audiences, translating complex technical and ERP/SAP concepts into clear business value.

  • Owning the creation of QBR materials, strategic updates, town hall content, and transformation program communications.

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape messaging for AI initiatives, experimentation governance, and cross‑functional programs.

Reporting & Enablement

  • Driving the creation and ongoing refinement of success‑metrics dashboards and OKR repositories for technology workstreams.

  • Coordinating briefing materials and pre‑reads for leadership forums, steering committees, and strategic reviews.

  • Ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment across internal status reports, program reviews, and executive memos.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Directly supporting the Head of Commercial & Corporates Engineering and leadership team with executive memos, reports, and communications.

  • Partnering with Commercial Engineering, Commercial Excellence, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to align communication goals and key messages.

  • Facilitating feedback loops and input sessions with executive sponsors and program leads, acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Process & Governance

  • Formalizing documentation and communications governance processes for experimentation, ideation, and transformation initiatives.

  • Supporting the rollout of strategic initiatives and clearly communicating their objectives, timelines, and impact.

  • Maintaining central repositories for communication artifacts, templates, dashboards, and success stories to drive re‑use and consistency.
