Role overview

This role will develop and deliver communications strategies to help our people adopt and embrace the changes, engaging partners and teams across various functions and brand-led divisions across Flutter. The role will support multiple initiatives/programmes and combine excellent communication expertise with a deep understanding of business change. The role will work closely with other Business Change Leads and will be able to articulate the case for change, and the key partners involved.

As a Business Change Lead, your role will be to lead and deliver the business change activities required to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of the change Programme you are partnered with. You will partner with the Programme team and impacted collaborators at every level of the organisation, ensuring that you are building the right change management activities at the right time, working in partnership to deliver successful change and transformation.

This role requires a creative, adaptive problem solver with the ability to exert influence without authority. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to demonstrate initiative, look at alternatives and consider practical ways to solve problems.

Department overview

Flutter consists of two commercial divisions (Fanduel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. Here in Flutter Functions we work with colleagues across all our divisions and regions to deliver something we call the Flutter Edge. It’s what differentiates us, our ‘secret sauce’ which plays a key part in our ongoing success and powers our brands and divisions, through Product, Tech, Expertise and Scale. In Flutter COO we work with experts across Flutter to build, deploy and communicate the Flutter Edge. Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.

What you’ll do

Change Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement detailed change management plans including strategies for communication, training and collaborator engagement which are aligned to the overall programme plan.

Change advocate: Is a champion of business change standard process and advocates for the value change can add.

Partner Management: Build and maintain trusted and valued relationships with key collaborators ensuring their needs are identified and addressed and they are engaged throughout the programme.

Leadership and influence: Is a key part of the programme team to ensure that change is represented, and plans will achieve the required behaviour changes.

Change Communication: Leads in the identification of key stakeholders involved or impacted and creates a robust and compelling communications strategy that delivers consistency in messaging in a targeted way.

Training Oversight: Oversees the development and delivery of training to ensure that colleagues have the knowledge and ability to change and transition successfully

Hypercare Plans: Leads the development of the hypercare and post-implementation support to drive change adoption.

Change Measurement: Leads the tracking of how effectively we have achieved change via metric and sentiment tracking.

Expertise: Have strong knowledge and experience of using change management methods.

Skills: Excellent communication, presentation and EQ skills and is able to quickly establish personal credibility build strong stakeholder relationships.

Adaptability: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity and change.

Leadership: Able to lead, coach and develop a team to have impact across the business.
