About the role:

The Change Enablement Program Specialist collaborate with stakeholders to lead all organizational alignment activities for GDD&T communications.
This role is responsible for developing the communications vision and engagement approach (including cadence, channel, audience and tools).
Activities focus on building organizational agility and change readiness as enablers of ongoing digital transformation.

How you will contribute:

  • Deliver high-quality communications services and assets across assigned projects, using appropriate media to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact
  • Drive and continuously enhance the communications strategy, processes, tools, and best practices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with DD&T, Takeda stakeholders, and external partners to enable timely and engaging digital communications
  • Manage and evolve communication channels that showcase Takeda’s digital strategy, initiatives, and achievements
  • Stay current on digital and emerging technology trends to inform communication and change strategies
  • Define, track, and report success metrics to demonstrate ROI of digital communications and initiatives
  • Lead stakeholder impact assessments, change readiness evaluations, and the development of change plans to support adoption
  • Manage communications and training analysts to successfully execute change management plans
  • Design and implement change management processes and tools supporting DD&T initiatives

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Change Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering end‑to‑end change management / change enablement activities within a global, digital, or IT‑focused environment.
  • Proven experience managing change across data, digital, and technology landscapes, supporting adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Strong expertise in digital communications, with the ability to develop and execute communication and engagement strategies that support change adoption.
  • Ability to understand and leverage digital and technology trends to enhance organizational effectiveness and people experience.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills (English), capable of clearly conveying information and engaging diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders, driving alignment, commitment, and buy‑in across cross‑functional organizations.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, able to identify challenges, interpret data and feedback, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage change in cross‑functional and multicultural environments, remaining flexible and effective in ambiguous and evolving situations.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience, able to operate successfully in dynamic, fast‑changing contexts.
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and time‑management skills, coordinating multiple tasks and initiatives in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in digital collaboration tools and platforms, including learning platforms and change management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for communication, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience applying change management methods and tools to support organizational change and ensure sustained adoption.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and Agile project management tools supporting digital and technology initiatives.

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting or coordinating change networks, communities, or stakeholder groups to enable engagement and adoption.
  • Experience operating in a business partnering model, providing internal support services to business and functional stakeholders.
