Change Analyst

The Change Analyst is responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and processing IT changes to ensure they are assessed, approved, scheduled, and implemented in a controlled and compliant manner. This role supports change management processes to minimize risk, reduce service disruption, and maintain the stability of production environments. 

 

Change Governance, Policy Enforcement & Control Oversight  
Own and enforce the IT change management framework, ensuring all changes comply with documented policies, control requirements, and audit standards. Maintain effective controls to minimize operational, security, and compliance risk. 

Change Review, Risk Assessment & Approval Control  
Review change requests for completeness, accuracy, risk, and regulatory impact. Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained and documented in accordance with governance and audit requirements, including segregation of duties and evidence retention. 

Change Scheduling, Communication & Audit Traceability  
Manage the change calendar and coordinate scheduling across teams while ensuring clear communication and full audit traceability of change details, approvals, implementation plans, and back-out procedures 

Production Stability, Validation & Post-Implementation Review   
Validate that changes are implemented as approved, monitor outcomes, and conduct post-implementation reviews for failed, emergency, or high-risk changes. Ensure remediation actions are documented and tracked for audit and compliance purposes. 

Reporting, Metrics & Continuous Control Improvement   
Produce change management metrics and compliance reports, support internal and external audits, identify control gaps or trends, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen change governance and reduce risk exposure. 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. 

  • 2–5 years of experience in Change Management or IT Service Management 

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
