ROLE SUMMARY

The CFC (Client-Facing Colleagues) Global Market Deployment Lead is a newly created position reporting directly to the CFC & Marketing CRM Portfolio Product Lead within the Global Commercial Excellence & Enablement organization in the Chief Marketing Office (CMO).

This is a high-visibility role responsible for driving the end-to-end success of Pfizer’s CFC engagement program, which supports pharmaceutical field representatives globally across all brands. The role represents the needs of Commercial Sales, Key Account Management (KAM), and Medical user groups. Over the next five years, Pfizer will re-platform its current CFC CRM technology.

The Market Deployment Lead will act as Pfizer’s central point of accountability for market deployment, leading the end-to-end rollout of LS Cloud across all markets. This includes ensuring alignment between global, regional, and local teams and overseeing:

  • Deployment planning

  • Market readiness

  • Execution

  • Post-go-live stabilization (HyperCare)

The role will work in close partnership with the CFC Engagement Program team and the International Deployment Project Manager to ensure successful implementation

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead planning, readiness, and execution for all market deployment waves.

  • Drive stakeholder engagement, resource planning, and in-market preparation.

  • Provide regular status updates and incorporate feedback from markets and stakeholders.

  • Align with other workstream leads to manage interdependencies and ensure smooth delivery.

  • Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across global, regional, and market teams.

  • Govern deployments by tracking risks/issues and facilitating timely decisions and escalations.

  • Oversee go-live and HyperCare activities to ensure successful market transition to steady state.

  • Collaborate closely with deployment, project management, communications, and change management workstreams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred.

  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical industry, with proven experience in managing diverse/global teams

  • Significant experience demonstrating an ability to carry out process excellence, knowledge management and project management.

  • Experience in global or above market experience.

  • Experience in leading complex, large scale business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable teams to achieve successful delivery.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive structure, governance, and delivery discipline across complex, multi-market environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and working in a matrixed environment

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to execute with speed and high quality.

  • Demonstrated business acumen strong analytical skills and mindset.

  • Strong communication, writing, presentation and influencing skills.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure, take accountability and to meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working at a top 20 pharmaceutical company in areas related to commercial/sales/field technology.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Veeva and other life sciences technologies.

  • Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

  • Experience with the Key Account Management (KAM) selling process.

  • Experience with targeting and segmentation solutions.

  • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment.
