Role Overview
As a Refurbishment Technician, you will be responsible for refurbishing, repairing, and testing analytical instruments—primarily LC systems—to deliver “like‑new” performance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities
Repair, refurbish, and test used LC systems to Agilent “like‑new” standards.
Perform calibration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities across instruments used in GMP manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.
Collaborate effectively within a cross‑functional team.
Maintain accurate and complete repair documentation.
Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Review, follow, and help maintain factory work instructions.
Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements.
Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to learn and cross‑train across additional product portfolios.
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. Candidates with relevant higher education, specialized training/certifications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Typically requires 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in instrument repair, maintenance, calibration, or related technical roles.
Experience with Agilent LC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry products is highly preferred.
Relevant work experience in troubleshooting - software and hardware.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Demonstrated expertise with ERP Systems (SAP / Agile).
Ability to assist peers with complex technical issues.
Proficiency in Excel for data entry and report generation.
Understanding of bill of materials (BOM), part numbering, and product configurations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global team members.

Comfortable working in environments with shifting priorities and frequent interruptions.
High degree of ownership, diligence, and attention to detail.
