Work Shift: 3 X 12 hrs. Days, Nights, Weekends may be required

Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Nursing Progressive Care Unit (PCU) UTower

• The Department of Head/Neck and PCU has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant to work in UTower.
• The Certified Nursing Assistant performs standard patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• More specifically, the incumbent assists patients in dressing and undressing, bathing, and eating, and collects noninvasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs.
• Additionally, this employee aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures and documents patient interactions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

                                                                                                  

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. 

Certification and Licensing:

CNA license and BLS certification. 

Experience:

Minimum of 0 - 1 year of relevant Acute Care hospital experience
