Albemarle Physician Services (APS) is recruiting for a Certified Nurse Midwife at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (SAMC) in Elizabeth City, NC. We are looking for a flexible, energetic, highly motivated candidate who demonstrate strong relationship building skills and strong clinical skills. The ideal candidate will have a vision and desire to build the program with practice leadership in a fun, fast-paced, family-oriented environment!
Position Highlights:
Rotating Schedule with 2 in office days with mix of inpatient and outpatient care
Providing full scope obstetrical and well-women gynecological care in a clinical practice
4 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 3 midwives currently with plans to grow program
Call 1 day a week/1 weekend a month
Average of 17-20 patients a day
Inpatient Deliveries; average of 30 deliveries a month
Highly collaborative group approach of OB care
